As parents, we want our children to grow and develop perfectly. It is important to consume nutritious foods to grow and develop completely. But, some of parents face a problem, because their kids eat less or they do not want to eat except a small piece of snack. Below I will try to give you little tips how to deal with this problem.

Tips to deal with fussy eaters kids



1. Give your kids a supplement / multivitamin that contains curcuma, this can make their appetite increased so that they want to eat more.

2. If you have given those for long periods of time but they have still difficulty to eat, go to a doctor.  There may be some abnormalities in their organs of the body. If doctor say there is any abnormalities, you should immediately treat them.

3. If doctor find normal condition, you can do the things below:

a. You should try to serve a food in small portions.
There are some kids  if they see a portion like this, they will have a passion for eating. You can add extra food if they ask for it.

b. Try to make a dish that consists of multiple choice of menus, serve them with an attractive appearance. Afterward, encourage them to choose what food they want to eat.

c. After creating an attractive look, try creating a comfortable dine atmosphere. For example, by taking your kids to eat with great warmth and perform relaxed dialogue with them.

Creating a comfortable atmosphere in eating activities not only by eating at the dining  table together, but you can also invite them to outdoors, eating in the park together while seeing beautiful scenery, and so on. The point is to give satisfaction of eating activity to them. So that they will love this activities.

d. The steps above can be combined with the following steps so that kids get excited to eat. The activities are:

Encourage children to do enough activities, reduce passive activity such as watching TV. Go outside and do physical activities such as walking, running in the park, or playing a ball. The goal is for making children to become more healthy and cheerful plus their appetite increases.

One of the activities that can be tried is invite your kids to serve of food, starting from buying groceries at the market, cooking, and finally serving a food. With an engagement with these activities, they will be eager to eat food more.

4. Lastly, try to apply reward and punishment. For example, if your kids complete their meal, then you have to give a compliment to them, and invite them to nice places they want. Conversely, if they do not want to eat,  then say to them that mom and dad do not want to watch the TV together and do not want to take them out.
